Log window

Hello, I don't know if I have to put that in the general topic... anyway. Is there a way NOT to show the log window, ever ? And have it come only when I need it ? It comes all the times, not (like Eudora) only when there is an error.

I didn't find the way to not use the logging at all. It's not usefule if everything goes well, like I said I neede it when sth goes wrong.

Silvio, Log pane/window is only displayed when there is a new error.

To turn that off - under Settings/Background Tasks, un-check: Bring Log window to the front on new errors. Hit OK

You can also bring up the Log window from MENU>VIEW>LOG or just press CTL+F11.
