Setting Regex type

How do I set my preferred regex type for searches?

Here is how to do it:
1. Hold down Shift and choose Settings/General.
2. Click on RegExpFlavor, and set the value:
0 - ECMAScript (Similar to JavaScript.)
1 - Basic / POSIX BRE
2 - Extended / POSIX ERE
3 - GREP
4 - EGREP
5 - AWK (Same as extended, with the addition of supporting common escapes for non-printable characters.)

Apologies if I am whinging to much. Going through the import/crash/import/etc cycle at the moment. Will be a lot more positive once I am up and running
