still not working
Thu Aug 08, 2019 10:49 am
I'm sorry to have tried to use this program, I cannot get any mail, the only good thing is the importing from eudora, who works well, but I cannot connect to any of my mail servers (yahoo, googel etc) and there are some strange behavior, i.e. when I try to put an @ in an address when I compose mail, (on my swiss-french keyboard it's AltGr - 2) the message just minimize and that's it. I cannot get the @ !!! I have to copy-paste it....
I spend the 12$ to have it registred, but I'd like to have a program that works... I'm going to uninstall it and reinstall it, maybe it will work this time... hopefully

You do not need to re-install, just make sure you are using the latest version (2.73).
Make sure your user name is correct, both yahoo and gmail use your full e-mail address as user name (not just the first part).
For gmail pop, add recent: prefix as per their recommendation, so it looks like this: recent:myusername@gmail.com
For yahoo pop, your user name is: myusername@yahoo.com
Of course change SSL to Always (TLS/SSL) on both panes (Checking and Sending).
Also, double check your passwords. Uncheck "Hide Password", small button the the right from Password text-box, so you can see what's currently in.
